I can't believe it but my little man is 5 months old today. His personality is expanding everyday and he is overall a very happy laid back baby. Some recent milestones:
1. We started baby food and he LOVES it. Seems to can't get enough of it. When I start gathering his bowl and spoon he gets very excited. He thinks he can feed himself faster so he tends to grab the spoon right away. So far, we have tried bananas, apples, sweet potatoes and avocados. His favorite is defiantly bananas.
2. He is grabbing everything in sight, including his sister's hair.
3. He is becoming a pro at blowing bubbles and spitting. He loves to mimic daddy.
4. He has found his feet. Possibly his new best friends and chew toys.
5. He has been sleeping through the night for about a week now. I think it is because of the new food intake and bottle feeding at night. More on that later.
6. He seems to be getting more on a schedule/routine which is much less stressful for me cause I'm a planner. He is usually up by 6 everyday and goes to bed by 7:30 with 3 naps in between.
7. He doesn't need to be rocked to sleep anymore (doesn't mean I don't take every opportunity to do it though... Anything to get some cuddle time in!)
He is learning new things everyday and is such a joy to be around. He loves to observe everyone else (especially sissy). He loves any and all toys; he's not picky at all.
This past month (or really months...) the sickness has hit our household. We've had colds, ear infections, and now thrush, which is really interfering with breast feeding Matthew. Pumping + bottle feeding has it's pros and cons.
