We have been planning on landscaping our backyard but haven't had the time or money to really get to it yet. So, in the mean time, we decided to get some potted plants for our back patio. Leah had a lot of fun running around the garden section and "smelling" the flowers (she gets as close as she can and goes "yummmmm!"). We chose two different plants and picked out two new pots, along with all the gardening extras you need that we realized we did not have. We obviously are not pros at this by any means. After we got home, we realized we don't even have a watering can or a hose in the backyard yet to water these. hmmm....
Here is Leah next to her calla lily. Surprisingly, she sat on her chair while daddy put all the dirt in the pot and yelled "ewww gross".
On another topic, we (well, really me) are busy planning for Leah's 2nd birthday party. Crazy to think my little munchy is turning 2! She amazes me every day with the new things she has learned. Last week, her new words were "popsicle" and "butt". She is very proud that she knows where her butt is, along with every one else's...
